I think I need help

The first step is always admitting you have a problem, right? Last week my daughter showed me this game http://www.ruzzle-game.com/and suggested I play with her. It's an app on her iphone. It's sort of like boggle. So we played and she beat me, and she beats everyone she knows, so much so that I don't think they will play with her any longer. How does her mind work like that. If I get 1000 points, she gets 2000. I thought I would practice and get better than her and realized that's not panning out. I think I have to quit cold turkey. If anyone has this app, I'm lynnnnc. No wait, do not feed into my addiction. In between games, I've been working on one of my ufos. It is very scrappy and I've used some "made" fabrics out of scraps. I've gotten to the point where I'm kind of not enjoying this any more, time to finish it up for real. My other daughter thinks it looks like a hot mess. It just may end up being her birthday gift this year.

A finish!!

I finished this last week just in time for Valentine's Day. I used fabrics that I had been hoarding for a while. It feels good to use them!

The letter carrier was very good to me last week.
First this pattern arrived from Stephanie http://www.designsbyloftcreations.com/
Then this arrived from Carrie http://apassionforapplique.blogspot.com/
And then I saw that Stephanie was selling some feedsack fabrics and I jumped at the chance. I was going to photograph a few of my favorites and then realized they are all my favorites, I love each and every square equally (don't want them getting jealous of each other)
Thank you so much Carrie and Stephanie!!

While I'm on a roll, I've chosen my ufo projects for February.
Does it count as a ufo if you've only cut out, but never started sewing? I'd like to get a Valentine quilt finished this week.
For a long time I've been throwing pink, green, and black scraps in a bucket (aqua bucket found at Target for a dollar too bright and pretty to use for cleaning). I was trying to do a scrappy quilt. I made several blocks, but I need cohesion in my scrap quilts. So I took some apart and started over, put it aside and kept tossing more scraps into my pretty buckt. I'd really like to finish this up. So now that I'm publicly committing, I'd better get moving!
