I've been busy lately and haven't found much time to sew. I did join the 15 minutes www.15minutesplay.com a day group and have found that perfect for me right now. I'm having a lot of fun using my scraps making these blocks.

I'm looking for more of these metal key ring parts - any ideas?
I've also been practicing machine quilting feathers the first couple looked fine but as I went on they looked more like kidneys and so I won't share those yet.

Stephanie www.loftcreations.blogspot.com from Loft Creations held a string challenge. I finished a table topper before the challenge and so I had my name put in for one of challenge prizes and guess what ... I WON!!

I love this bag, it is so cute I remember seeing it on her blog and admiring it, never thinking it would be mine.

The back of the bag is terrific, almost as cute as the front!

Fat quarters too! I know just what I'm going to do with them - I am so excited to use them, but almost hate cutting up something so cute (almost).

Speaking of cute fabric, I saw this last week and it jumped out at me and made me buy it.

An odd-shaped baby fleece remnant from the bin at the fabric store, satin blanket binding on sale and voila 2 baby blankets to donate. The satin binding was challenging to use, but they turned out sweet I think. Just imagine a little baby wrapped up in one.

Stephanie www.loftcreations.blogspot.com from Loft Creations held a string challenge for the past several months. Earlier I finished a small table topper for the challenge and had every intention of completing a larger string project well before the deadline. I'm a little disappointed that I didn't meet that deadline, but I am thrilled that I did in fact finish it. All from scraps that otherwise would have been thrown away. This is a quilt that will get heavy use I think. Thank you Stephanie, without the challenge this would have not started or finished for that matter.

It's been a long time since I've posted. I hate being away this long.
One thing finished here, not by me but by my daughter. Two more pillowcases for the 1 million pillowcase challenge http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/millionpillowcases/.
