What I've been working on - part 2

One of a few baby quilts that I plan to donate to my local hospital. This is part of my pay it forward that I did with Amanda www.scrandasmusings.blogspot.com . I'll be showing more that I've done for this within the next week.

What I've been working on Part 1

I love to blog and I love to sew, but lately I've been not doing much of either. After not being able to sew a simple nine patch block one day I took a short sewing break and now am back on a roll. For the first thing I've been working on is the Jelly roll sampler from www.moosequilts.blogspot.com

Melanie www.jellybeanangel2.blogspot.com is one of the nicest and talented bloggers out there. She shared with me a pattern that she wrote herself! I redid it just a bit to fit my table a little better and this is what I came up with. I love the binding on this, I've been saving this fabric for something special. Thank you so much Melanie!

If you noticed my lack of blogging lately, it's because I promised myself no blogging until I finished something. I had seen this on Nanette's blog www.fredashive.blogspot.com last year (March 12, 2009) and have been wanting to make it and finally did. Thank you Nanette for sharing such a cute pattern.
